It's fair to say that Grand Theft Auto V will be the best game from the franchise yet; it would be rather difficult to find someone who will think differently of that. We saw many things in Thursday’s trailer, including the possibility of multiple playable characters. Let's break down those possibilities.

Multiple Characters… Is It Possible?

It is possible to have multiple playable characters in this game. Having said that, we have never seen a GTA game where you have had to play as different characters. A little game called Heavy Rain tried this and it worked out really good, with rave reviews coming in about that capability when it launched in 2010. But would it work for a game like GTA?
